<p>I have been thinking applying early for quite a few schools but I’m retaking my SAT in October. Is that enough time to see my scores and then send them to colleges by November 1?</p>

<p>Retaking the SAT would be a good idea. Your scores at this point are below average for Michigan. Also, being OOS doesn’t help, as state residency is considered. I know several applicants from this admission cycle whose overall applications were stronger than yours who were denied. (And fwiw, it’s University of Michigan, not Michigan University.)</p>
