Chance me. Need help finding colleges with my current SAT score

I am a junior from a lare public high school in Maryland.
I have a 3.82 gpa uw, 4.71 weighted
Class rank is 99/505
My sat is 1710 (i know it is low but i have only taken in once and hoping to get a 1900 after i take it again)
Extracurriculars:
Peer assistant for schools special needs soccer, bowling, and baseball teams
10+ hrs a week volunteering at a dog rescue
National honor society
Class council- hopefully will have a position next year
School ambassador
Student athlete leadership board

Interested in STEM, dont know specifically what I want to do, probably chemical engineering
Looking for a school thats above 7,000 students but less than 30000
As of now interested in University of Delaware, UMD CP, and Villanova

What are my chances at these as of now with my sat score.
What colleges should i look at with my current stats?
What colleges should i look at if i can get my sat to a 1850-1950?

Thanks. Will chance back

Temple, Pitt, VA Tech . . . maybe Clemson?

@woogzmama‌ thanks for the fast reply? Is that with my current profile or with an improved sat?

Some of those would be reaches with current SATs, and more in the match-high match category if you increased your score, but I never encourage students to build a list based on the scores they hope to get. You should create one based on your existing profile. If your scores go way up, then you can add some reaches and eliminate the lowest safety colleges, but the vast majority of students will not see their scores go up enough to alter their admissions outlook radically.

Bump

if you get your SAT above a 1900, you should be ok for UMD in-state. Nova and Delaware are definitely good options given you get your SAT up.

The OP asked where he/she can get in with existing scores. That is the wiser approach.

University of Kentucky, Colorado State

For your CURRENT score:
Florida State
Auburn
Alabama
Oklahoma
Arkansas
UMBC
RIT
College of Charleston
NC State
Syracuse

I would consider taking the ACT

@patriot420‌ thanks for the reply. I am retaking the sat in 2 weeks and taking the ACT in june. Hopefully I can get a good score on both.
