NOTE NU does take a very holistic approach to admissions, so ECs matter a lot

ur grades and test scores seem to be good. but ur saying that ec’s matter a lot and tbh u dont seem to have average ec’s. u should trying doing something related to your intended major, and that might help a lot. low reach.

chance me back.

Your grades are there. And your ECs seem fine. Do you have a story? Colleges want uniqueness. If you can show them in your essay that you can offer them something new and great, then you have a great shot.

Please chance! Thx http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1673915-please-chance-me.html#latest

@toesockshoe what do you mean my ECs don’t seem average? Are they below average?

@maxnadelman41 you said that northeastern really cares about ec’s, but im saying that your ec’s are average compared to most high school students. if they really place an emphasis on your ec’s you might eitehr want to improve them, or outshine some other way (through grades or whatever)

as long as ur essays are heartfelt, u seem like a total match for Northeastern. do EA to them and u will get there for sure. u may wanna try for a higher SAT but if not, u still should be good.
chance me? http://talk.qa.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1674689-chances-at-bs-md-programs.html#latest

thanks @FicherDude97 … would you recommend that I take subject tests instead of the this October… I’m not sure if I would be able to get the scores back in time for EA but how do you like my chances for RD?

and also @FischerDude97 I do have a heartfelt essay topic that I’m not going to make a sob story. I was planning to write about the suicide of one of my childhood friends in my freshman, and how it has helped me to be a more of a leader and a role model in my school because it has allowed me to be more understanding and considerate of other people’s issues. And to add onto that, the experience has made me more hardworking, because I would want to make my friend proud and to help other people in desperate situations. I am looking at going into either International Affairs or Business
