  • Extremely strong recommendation letters from my AP chemistry teacher and AP government teacher. They both know me very well. The best was from my AP Chemistry teacher who i also had in regular chemistry. He knows me very well, and sponsors my club and science bowl which i’m in. Good recommendation letter from my counselor as well

Essays: 9/10

  • My essays were personal and thoroughly evaluated and I believe they are quite strong after months of review by myself and many others.

All your choices are definitely strong matches for you and I don’t see any reason why they wouldn’t accept you. You have the academic and ec stats. The only worry you should have is your affordability. NYU is notoriously expensive and doesn’t offer scholarships so be smart in your decision.

Thank you for the response! I know how expensive NYU is unfortunately. Do you think that the one C will ruin my chances of getting into any of these schools?

You should not worry about the C. You are in a good position, only thing to worry about is yield protection (application is above and beyond their average so they reject/waitlist you because they don’t think you’ll go there) from BC and possibly BU. Best of luck!

Your standardizes test scores of ACT 35 and SAT 1570 are outstanding. You also have a very high GPA. All of your listed schools are reasonable matches for you.

With medical school in your future plans, you may want to consider universities which are likely to offer you at least a full tuition & fees scholarship in order to minimize your educational costs.

Actually NYU does have some merit scholarships, but don’t count on gettin them.

You need to do the net price calculators for each of these colleges…and believe what they say.

If medical school is in your future, you want no undergrad debt.
