To improve your chances at Gettysburg you might consider having one of your current coaches contact the coach at Gettysburg and make a case for you. It is rather well known that having a coach in your corner can help during the admissions process there. Best of luck!

Although Gettysburg is D3 in athletics, they are competitive in many sports. Recently, the girls won the national championship in lacrosse. I know basketball, soccer, baseball and football members. They were top HS athletes, all. Beenthere is absolutely correct but before asking a coach for help, know that you want to play a sport in college and determine if your abilities match up with their rosters. If you are a recruited athlete, all the schools on your list become safeties. Good luck - you have a very nice list of schools!

Thank you! I am not looking to continue sports in college… if anything maybe the club level and definitely intramural…!

My US History teach who was also my AP us History teacher who wrote my rec, wrote a private letter to his friend who is a history teacher at Gettysburg ironically! I am hoping that this could help me out in the long run (financially) I’m in the awkward middle class position that yes I can pay for most of these schools but I will have to take loans that I’ll be paying for the next 40 years haahahah

Hoping for like 10k… that would be amazing ahah
