Btw: My uncle was on the Board of Trustees for AU and I included that in my application if that makes much of a difference.

Your SAT scores / grades are great for mid tier colleges, but for slightly more selective schools such as American/Boston they are average, and your class rank ups your chances. Your ECs are nice, and having family at American def bumps your chances. Slight reach for both, but more so Boston.

Your stats are good! Very good GPA, the SAT might be on the low side but good so far.

AU: High match to low reach. 35 to 50% chance.
BU: Low reach. 30% chance.

You’d better have some more match and safety schools. With your stats there’s lots of great options in that department. Hit me up if you need suggestions.

American: You should get in.
Boston University: You probably won’t get in. Your scores are too low.
