Total hours of community service: At least 170 hours

I’m also going to apply to be a National Hispanic Scholar (which I hear looks GREAT for colleges)

I want to major in something relating to pre-law studies and I obviously plan on going to law school afterwards.

My schools (In no particular order)
Vanderbilt
Wake Forest
Santa Clara
UT Austin
Georgia
USC
Loyola Marymount
Clemson
Boston College

By my own research, I can safely say that I’ll be accepted in Santa Clara and Loyola Marymount; I’m also considering applying to Oklahoma and/or Arkansas as a safety school.

PLEASE, I need your honest opinion: Am I being realistic here? Or do I need to come back down to Earth? Also, if you know any schools that are similar to any of the schools I listed, feel free to post them and I’ll gladly check them out. I need all the feedback I can get. Thanks.

is your GPA weighted?

and i would say:
Loyola: Match
BC: Reach
Clemson: High Match
USC: High Reach
Georgia: I have no idea
UT Austin: you’re in TX so id say low reach
Santa Clara: Match
Wake Forest: High Reach
Vanderbilt: High Reach

all of that could change if you get your SAT score up!

It’s around a 3.9 when it’s weighted…how much higher do I have to get my SAT scores up to even get considered?

bump de bump

Besides my SAT score (which I know is pretty low, I’m hoping for a 100+ point increase), what else could I work on to have a better chance at these schools?

I can see you get into Vandy ED if you are ready to do that. Just make sure your SAT is 2000+ because your URM status is definitely going to be beneficial. If you don’t apply for FA, then i can see USC ED or RD as well.

bump

10 char
