uhh looks like you have excellent grades but either you’re a bad test taker or your school is easy(in the most non offensive way possible). your extracurriculars looks great and your class rank is good. your SAT is rather low for your achievement so i’m guessing your essay will play a large part in your acceptance. bu does have around a 50% acceptance rate so i wouldn’t fret too much. if you know your counselor well, that could tip the scales alot too

i’d say you have good chance of getting in

um actually my school is really advanced and just received an intel award in excellence for science. I didn’t study at all for the SAT just to see how i would do and I am currently in honors algebra II and have no tutors or any math prep for the stuff I have not learned yet so that is why my math is low. I took the test for the first time in December and those are my scores. Thanks very much for the reassurance I just want to make sure I am on the right track!

you’ll probably get in…i got in with little effort and had a slightly less impressive resume at the time i applied. also FYI you can’t major in premed at BU, it’s a track of courses you take while pursuing another major. One major that shares a lot of courses with the premed track is neuroscience. Some core reqs and optional courses include bio II, chem I + II, orgo I, systems physiology, physics I+II, statistics, and cell bio.

Thanks for the info and encouragement…I know premed is a track of courses and I am unsure of my major at this point so thanks for the ideas!
