Chance me please! Cornell, Columbia, UPenn, JHU...

I really would like to know how good of a shot i have at these schools, and i know there are a lot, so even if you can tell me in general, that will help. Thanks!

Cornell
Columbia
University of Pennsylvania
Johns Hopkins
SUNY Binghamton
SUNY Stony Brook Honors or Scholars for Medicine
Boston College
NYU
Northwestern U
Northeastern U
Notre Dame

Here's my stats:

Academics:

sat I: 720 math, 640 cr, 650 writing (a bit weak but am taking it two more times, this is my first) I hope to raise to 740, 670 and 700, respectively
sat IIs: chemistry 750, math 1c 680, will take math 2c and retake 1c
ranked 5/900+ at public school

ecs is where i am weakest, volleyball takes a huge amount of time out of my day, 2+ hours every day, 6 days a week for one out of two terms(4.5 months).

Volunteer/Work experience:

So that covers most of it, im pretty weak in ecs, any advice? i know its kinda late now because its senior year. Please help me out and let me know what my shots are thanks!

Your GPA and rank are excellent, but, like you said, your test scores and ECs are on the weak side. With your current application, you won’t have much of a chance at any of the Ivies, but if you were to retake and do well on your SATs, Penn and Columbia would be reaches, Cornell, Hopkins and NU would be high matches / low reaches, and you should be in at the other schools, minus MIT.

The scores you’re aiming for will not be competitive at Columbia, MIT, Penn or Cornell and would be borderline at NU and JHU.

^thanks, i am going to take the sat probably 2 more times. i really didnt study much for the first one i took, but now im seriously studying and im scoring around 2100, so hopefully i go up at least 100 on the real thing.

Try to study first, then take. The schools that want all scores discount the third try.
