Chance me please, for stanford....

Hey people, here's stuff about me, (i hope the gpa doesn't hurt me too much), chances please?

GPA: 3.8 unweighted, top 10%

SAT's: 2390 (Math: 800, Reading: 790, Writing: 800)
Subject Tests: (Math II-800, Physics-770, Biology-720)

EC's:

-Varsity Tennis
-JV Cross Country
-Cello section leader, all-state orchestra
-Letters published in NY Times, LA Times, and local newspaper
-Honorable Mention in state science fair
-Worked summers as intern in computer shop, at community redevelopment agency, and as a babysitter
-Invested my earnings and doubled my money
-President in Knowledge Bowl club and Rubik's Cube Club

Do you think I can get into Stanford without a 4.0?

Rubik's Cube Club? Heh.

Anyway, looks like a competitve application. 4.0 isn't everything, the rank seems to be more important in many cases. Top 5% is ideal, but top 10% isn't going to kill you at all.

Thanks, I actually think I might be in top 5%, our school doesn't tell us (I just wish I didn't get so many B's in the first semester of junior year), and ha, yeah, Rubik's Cube Club is fun
