Microecon 5, Statistics 4 so far in the AP's

I am considering applying to Univ of Chicago, Northwestern Uni and John Hopkins as my reaches, Michigan Ann Arbor as my Target and U Illinois as a safety. Do i have a good chance of getting in my reach's or target?

I want to Apply to Princeton and Duke but is there any chance whatsoever?

Also if you could recommend any more good places for an econ undergrad, it will be greatly appreciated.

I think you have at least a solid chance at getting into Duke, I wouldn't be so sure about Princeton.

Maybe look into Carnegie Mellon and UCLA for undergrad economics? Both are below Ivy, but still good schools.

Do you know your class rank/%?

thank you so much for giving an honest opinion! im top 10 % in my class and also have a bunch of awards for outstanding community service...
by the way are my chances for michigan u and northwestern ok?

I think they would be.

For both schools, the average student's SATs are a bit lower than yours [Michigan more so] and in both 8%-15% are below top 10%. Of course, those stats aren't everything, but the fact that you're a bit better than their average student is definitely a plus.

What do you mean by "studied internationally"? Not a US citizen or what? Because that will make things a bit harder.

asian student ... :(

do i have a good chance at a northwestern ed?

BUMP De BUMP

Another thing generally frowned upon is creating two chance threads with the same texts in each.

Just looking at the statistics for applicants, I think you would have a solid chance at Northwestern ED. Just make sure you absolutely want to go there.
