In all honesty, I have no idea, and probably no one else does, either. It is a weird year with the new ELC designations. If I had to guess, I’d say you are on the cusp and/or UCSD is a reach. It would have been much better to have switched your soph and junior years so you had an upward trend, all those Cs junior year are hurting you. OTOH, at least you had the right number of H and AP, which should help your UC weighted GPA. You also have a good number of focused volunteer hours. Good luck, decisions come out soon and you have done all you can, so just relax and try to think of something else.

Even though, they are AP’s you have too many C’s It’s going to be really hard. In my opinion, it was better if you went to the lower class and just got an A

The downward trend doesn’t look good at all, and you have a lot of C’s…calculate your UC gpa! The average gpa for UCSD is most likely a 4.0 or higher. The SAT looks solid and the EC’s are okay. What major did you put down?

College admissions can go either way and tend to be pretty random. No one here can tell you if you’ll get in or not, but you’ll find out this weekend. Good luck! I hope you get in! If you wrote good essays, that would definitely help too.

I put down undecided major if that makes any difference O;
