<p>I know I don’t have the best grades compared to some people here, but my GPA has risen since my Freshman year Steadily every year. I am currently carrying a 3.2 this year.</p>

<p>My friend got in with a 2.9 UW GPA and 1790 SAT. However, he went to one of the toughest private schools with serious grade deflation, so that may have been a factor. I think your GPA has to be a little higher. I think you have a 25% chance of admission.</p>

<p>I would guess that you have some chance of acceptance but not much. If you do get in, you will be in the bottom 10% of the students. Maybe they will give legacies a push,which would be good for you. Also, your SATs aren't bad,which should help you.</p>

<p>Bottom line: apply there, although it will be a reach for you.</p>

<p>I think that with your extracurriculars, you'll have a much beter shot at getting in. Having connections can't hurt either.</p>
