<p>Oh my. I think top 10% means you are golden as long as you don’t have terrible disciplinary problems on your record. They take the top 25% or so of our local high school. I know lots of people who got in with much less. The mid 50% have 1180-1270 out of 1600 on the SAT. This is a horribly stressful time of year. I wouldn’t relive it for the world. I think you can relax. It’s a great school. Good luck!</p>

<p>I think you have an average to high shot. If you look through old JMU threads there are people with much higher SATs, think 2000+, who have been waitlisted/rejected, but typically this was paired with a low-ish GPA. You are the opposite, high GPA but low SAT, so it could go either way for you. I think you have around a 2/3 shot of acceptance though. </p>
