I’m a white girl going into senior year from a small private catholic school.

Classes: I have taken honors language and science classes all throughout high school. I am in standard/average math (will be taking calc next year)
We do not have AP classes or honors classes in the humanities.

Speech team since 9th grade, competed at sections and elected team captain for senior year
“Poetry and writing club” member and appointed leader for senior year
Journalism intern at publishing company
- I write columns for a neighborhood magazine
Winner of one national scholastic writing award for a short story and one honorable mention for another story
I write a lot in my free time
Hooks: I speak Italian and Spanish
My parents are immigrants so I’m a first generation American
