Chance me please!! thank you

<p>Hello, I am an Asian studying in the state of Nebraska
I want to know my chances to this school and perhaps some scholarship money...</p>

<p>Intended Major: International relations
Cumulative GPA: 3.95 (Freshman: 3.8 Sophomore 3.9 Junior 4.1 Senior 1st semester: 4.0)
SAT I : 2010 (Reading 630 Math 750 Writing 630)
SAT 2 : USHistory-610, Korean-800, Chem-650 </p>

<p>Essays: Okay, proofread by teachers..</p>

<p>ECs:
MUN activities
several leadership roles
Journalism state champ
150~200 hrs of volunteer works..
and more.. i think i did okay on my ECs.</p>

<p>please let me know my chances of admission and possibly merit scholarships..</p>

<p>SATs aren't great... you might get in but I really doubt you get any merit scholarships with those grades.</p>

<p>also, just a general question, how much credence will JHU give the SAT in Korean if you are Korean? I mean, isn't it just a really cheap 800?</p>

<p>Well, I mean, it's still an accomplishment to know more than one language---granted you have a huge upperhand, having been immersed in both. What would suck is if you were Korean and didn't get an 800. Then that looks terrible. But this is a better affirmation of your knowledge, rather than stating, "I'm fluent in Korean."</p>

<p>For the rest of us non-native speakers... it does mess up the grading curve for language tests. Sigh. Oh well.</p>

<p>As for your chances, well... your SAT's could've used work (suffering with you on that front) but they don't look... terrible to me, though I wouldn't expect any merit scholarships from schools like JHU.</p>
