thank you!

Have you checked whether Tufts gives merit scholarships? I hadn't heard of it.

As for chances, well your board scores are underwhelming, although the Math SAT is very strong. Your GPA is excellent, but you've given no indication of the rigor of your curriculum. How many regular courses and how many AP courses? Is your curriculum the hardest offered at your school? Does your school do class rank?

Also, your GPA seems to be weighted (4.1 JY)... unweighted gives a better estimate.

Your test scores are a little on the low side but your grades seem pretty good (although it doesn't seem to be a normal 4.0 scale...). It is tough to say without knowing the rigor of your curriculum or your class rank.

Also, Tufts does not give merit scholarships, only need-based aid (I believe).

They give merit scholarships to URMs, I know that much. My friend got a "likely letter" before she even applied.

I got an invitation to a scholarship program there.
Granted, it's only about 5k but anything helps!

So yes, Tufts does give merit aid. I just don't think you can choose to apply for it...though I may be wrong.
