Hello, I am a white male from the 2nd best high school in my state and would love to go to Villanova, BU, or W&M. I hope to study biology and business and become a dentist. My stats are:

UWGPA: 3.7
SAT: 1280
ACT: 31
3 varsity sports for 4 years, captain for 2 years
Internship at 8 dental, ortho, and specialist offices over 2 summers
Trusted employee at a local restaurant for 2 years
Got an A in a college health and medicine class as a junior
3 great recommendations from 2 teachers and the principal of my school
Taken almost all of the honors and AP classes at my school (less than 350 students, so not a lot of classes)
Had several family members who attended Villanova

I am a little worried about my GPA and my class rank, which isn’t very good, but I believe that my recommendations and essays are excellent.

Any chance I can get in?

Your legacy will help, but you are correct in your own assessment. I think if you are majoring in Bio with a minor in business your chances are better (you did not specify above which college you were applying to, so I assumed), but still could be a reach. Do you live in the NE? Best of luck to you! I hope you get in!!

Yes, I am from a small New England town, and I would apply to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Business minor at villanova is difficult. Would you be okay with studying over the summer?
