Which schools?

(In Order of Preference): Yale, Columbia, Harvard, Princeton, Brown, Georgetown, Cornell Washington&Lee, George Washington (GWU), New York University and Boston University

BU, NYU: safety/low reach
George Washington, Cornell, Georgetown: match
Brown, Princeton, Yale: high match (just the GPA… scores are good)
Yale, Columbia: reach

Does high match mean the school is well matched to my potential, or that it matches my potential but is in a bit higher range for me?

Unless your name is Malala Yousafzai or Malia Obama or are a heavily recruited athlete, any university with a <10% acceptance rate is a high match for nobody.

I was very involved in the Arab Spring in Egypt (illegally in Egypt), which I wrote my essay on.

You have a really good profile. Your involvement in the Arab Spring will set you apart. Of course, nothing can be said about the ivies, but I feel that you will get into most of the colleges on your list. Best of luck!
