Chance me please, will chance back

I'm applying to these colleges for a degree in Comp Sci:
Harvard College
Carnegie Mellon University (School of Computer Science)
University of Pennsylvania
Cornell University (Primary: College of Engineering, Alternate: College of Arts and Sciences)
Duke University (Pratt School of Engineering)

I want to know what my chances are of getting into at least one of these schools.

Here is my background:
White male from central Alabama w/ two younger brothers, a mother in college, and an income of between $60K and $70K a year.

ACT Highest Scores: Math, 34; English, 35; Reading, 34; Science, 33; Composite, 32; Writing + English, 30;
SAT II Scores: Physics, 720 (65%); Math I, 720 (86%); US History, 660 (63%);

High School GPA: Weighted, 4.208; Unweighted, 3.854;
Rank: 3/360; Second hardest schedule of class;

Freshmen Schedule: Honors English 9, Honors World History, Honors Geometry, Biology, French I, Basketball/PE, Men's Choir;
Sophomore Schedule: Honors English 10, Honors US History, Honors Algebra II w/ Trig, Chemistry, French II, Speech, Health/Driver's Ed;
Junior Schedule: Honors English 11, AP US History (Score: 4), Honors Pre-Calculus, AP Physics B (Score: 3), AP Psychology (Score: 3), Broadcast Journalism I, PE Intramural;
Senior Schedule: AP English Literature, Economics/US Government, AP Calculus AB (BC was not offered), Anatomy (Signed up for AP Physics C, but it didn't end up being available as a class), AP Computer Science A (AB was not offered), Broadcast Journalism II;

EC: Five Honor Societies, Math Team for two years, Peer Helpers senior year, Student Ambassadors senior year, AP Scholar, Five mission trips over four years (including one to Guatemala), Seven years of volunteer service with VBS at local church, Amateur musician (have played cello, alto sax, tuba, guitar), Active member of church youth group w/ 500+ hours of volunteer service;

Usually I do really well with essays (never made below an A on an essay, and I don't usually try), so I think those are fine. I know my recommendations from my teachers are really good (one is from my Honors English 11 teacher and the other from my AP Physics B teacher). I've had the CMU and Duke interviews, both went really well (in my opinion) and the Duke guy sounded more like he was recruiting me and even said at one point that academically it was no question that I was capable and it was more about how I felt about Duke. After visiting CMU my interviewer sent a second message back to CMU reaffirming that I should get in. Also, I had a guy from church who majored in CS and is the CTO of a company write me a recommendation letter to all five schools that I thought was quite good (I’ve known him for four or five years).

What do you think my chances are of getting into these schools?
Here are my results thus far:
MIT EA (rejected)
Georgia Tech (accepted)
Auburn University (accepted w/ full tuition)
Birmingham-Southern College (accepted w/ Presidential Scholarship)
University of Alabama (accepted w/ full tuition)
University of Alabama at Birmingham, otherwise known as UAB (accepted w/ $6K per year)

Wow, that is a very strong application. Your scores are high and you have a lot of extra curriculars. I think you have a great chance of getting into those schools, but make sure you write a good essay because that’s what really boosts your chances at any college. Good luck!

It would be great if you chanced me too: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-admissions/1086970-shaky-gpa-uncertainty-feedback-appreciated.html

Much appreciated :)

Harvard College- high reach
Carnegie Mellon University (School of Computer Science)- high match
University of Pennsylvania- reach
Cornell University (Primary: College of Engineering, Alternate: College of Arts and Sciences)- reach
Duke University (Pratt School of Engineering)- reach

I’d say reaches at all except CMU. Good luck and congratulations on your current acceptances and scholarship offers:)

i would say that all the schools except carnegie mellon are reaches. but you need to keep in mind that these schools are reaches for most people.
