Last year, my friend got into Princeton with full financial aid with a 2210 (he scored 50 points higher in math and 10 points lower in CR. He got a 660 in writing). I was asking him about this, and he said that I dont need the score boost. He said that my rank, my GPA and my EC's was much better than his, and that I had nothing to worry about (He had less EC, and he was 3 or 2/92.) In addition, people here get into U Penn, Duke, Dartmouth and Notre Dame with 1800s and 1900s in the SAT.

What if I take the SAT in dec and wait until I get my scores? If the scores are good enough, I could send them to the colleges. What if my CR score goes down? Is a 2240 or something with a lower CR score any better than my 2170? Im pretty sure i will be able to boost math and writing but i think 760 CR will be hard to improve. Lastly, is my current writing score absolutely detrimental?
