Chance me please!

GPA: 3.6/4

I've taken 6 honors classes so far and next year (senior year) I'll be taking 3 APs
I go to one of the best high schools in the state
Got a perfect score on the national Latin exam in 6th grade

ECs (very weak): Played JV basketball in 9th grade
I've done lots of community service but I didn't start recording any of it until this year

Varsity Baseball 11th grade

Master Knight in Knights of Pythagoras for 3 years; been in organization for 9 years

I want to go and major in mechanical or electrical engineering but I don't think I have the ECs or grades to get in. Help please!

your PSAT score is great (can’t really say anything though till you take the real thing) but if you get at 1800-1900 you should be fine. Your GPA is great so keep it up! (don’t let it slip)

So right now you have a great chance. Clemson really doesn’t care about extracurriculars so just focus on your grades and SAT/ACT scores if you want to get into Clemson

Alright thanks for the info. Do you go there? If so, can you tell me what you know about it? Like the kind of people, things to do in the city, things like that. I’ve heard of some college kids treating others differently just because they didn’t live in-state, do Clemson kids do that? I’ve lived in Charleston my entire life but I was just wondering.

Yes I go there. I’m an out-of-state student and I don’t think I’ve been treated differently? The key is just come in and be open minded.
