I am also an IB diploma student and i am planning to pursue my diploma (not quite sure how the school views IB diplomas)</p>

<p>ACT composite score: 24 ( I realize this is low but this was my first attempt and I'm planning on taking it again in September, should be much higher next time) </p>

<p>I realize that my ACT and my GPA are red flags but by the time it finish the year my UW GPA will be about a 3.7 and my W GPA 4.7 and as indicated from the senior schedule it is very realistic to believe that i will be able to bring my rank under 50/532.</p>

<p>Unless you get your ACT score up near or above 30, your chances are slim.</p>

<p>Your GPA is a little on the low side, but based on the rigor of your classes, I’m sure it will be just fine! I think that you have a decent chance if your GPA gets to a 3.7UW and you really bring up your ACT score. I strongly recommend either 1) try the SAT in hopes that will go better or 2) get a tutor or take a class to prepare for the ACT again. </p>
