uc gpa: 3.67 ( yes i know that’s low)
sat: 1960
4 years of track
250+ hrs of community service
Majoring in political science
I’m Indian ( i dunno if that helps)

also, i went back to my uc application status, and it said: congratulations, according to uc calculations you’re in the top 9%…i was rather surprised by this considering my gpa is pretty low, maybe i calculated it wrong

so what are my chances??? any feedback is GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Well, turns out that being Indian does not help at all considering that they told you that you’re in the top 9% and still think you are a poor candidate.

Community service doesn’t mean anything. Track will factor very slightly. GPA is decent if that’s unweighted (I got in with a 3.2 unweighted, but well over 4.0 with over a dozen APs). Your SAT could be higher. Mine was 2100 so that may have outweighted the lower GPA. I give you a 80% chance IF that is an unweighted GPA, if not…then maybe a 60%
