<p>I realize my Standardized Test scores are low, will this greatly affect me in my applications to the following universities?</p>

<p>Your GPA is pretty good for these schools. If they are anything like Colorado state schools most applicants are simply screened with a ACT (SAT maybe in your case) and GPA index while essays are only seriously considered for those on the fence. Are you planning on sports in college?</p>
<p>I also wouldn’t include anything before your high school career (if that’s when the black belt was).</p>
<p>For UF, try to get your SAT up just a little bit more and you have a pretty good shot. Other than that, you’re solid for all of your schools. Good luck!</p>
<p>SAT is a red flag for UMich. Try to get it up at least 100 points in each category. Also, what ethnicity are you? That might help at UMich!

<p>Yes, unfortunately asians are compared to other asians, and that means you are being compared to students with above average GPAs, SATs, and EC’s. Being a below average asian may can work against you.</p>
