Thanks and good luck everyone!

Kenyon does superscore so that will be a minor help to you.

Overall, Kenyon is a tough one to predict because they are so focused on “fit” (which, in my opinion, makes for a fantastic school atmosphere). Certainly your grades and scores are fine for Kenyon. You should have gotten a sense in your interview and other contacts with Kenyon about whether you click with them or not. That’s probably your best indication of whether you’ll be accepted.

Good luck!

Ok thanks! Unfortunately I think I missed the registration date for interviews. I didn’t really know they were so keen on interviewing so this is a little discouraging. Does this significantly hurt my chances?

Have you done a campus visit yet? Your NSHS and Student Council ECs are good because Kenyon places a premium on leadership. Have you taken, or are you taking, calculus? They like to say in their materials that roughly 2/3 of their students have taken calculus in h.s.

When we visited over the summer they were very up front about saying that it had gotten much more difficult to get in the past couple of years because of a dramatic increase in applications.

I have not visited campus yet but plan to do so in the upcoming weeks. I took Calculus last semester but did not do any dual credit or anything of that nature. It’s my top liberal arts choice right now and I agree it seems like one of my tougher choices to gain admission.

just curious, did you apply this year? did you get in?
