Chance Me Please

Hi everyone ,

I have no idea what my chances are at any of these schools and was hoping that I could have some sort of feedback at what schools I should make a safety and what schools should I apply to. I also have been looking at BS MD programs but I also don’t have any idea what my chances are for those.

Applying to:
Georgetown (I really want to go here but I don’t know how realistic this is)
Brown (I’m pretty sure I have no chance getting here :frowning: )
Purdue
University of Boston BS MD
Case Western BS MD
University of Miami
University of Toledo BS MD
Baylor

GPA
3.71 Unweighted
4.14 Weighted

Scores:
ACT: 32
SAT: Took it twice and got the same score:(
Superscore: 1490
Regular: 1440
AP Scores: (The ones I plan on submitting)
AP Stats- 4
AP Macroeconomics: 4
AP Psychology: 4

Extracurricular activities:
Research at 2 different labs at OHSU (nothing published)
Volunteering at hospitals ~ 250 hours
Volunteering at library ~100 hours
Teaching students speech and debate at local school
Placed 3rd in state for Policy debate sophomore year and was top 8 in freshman year
Participant of science bowl for 2 years, captain for the team one year.
Science Olympiad nationals 2 times (placed a decent amount of times at the state tournament)

I know my stats don’t look good but is there anywhere else I should apply where I may have a good chance???

Also I was looking at UNC Chapel Hill and UCLA

If you were not an MD, what would you study?

I was still planning on majoring in biology and then if I wasn’t able to be an MD I’d look into the research field? I’m rather looking at options that would best set me up for becoming an MD…

There’s no such thing as “University of Boston”

**Boston University

I’d say everywhere you said except the ivy and Georgetown you have a solid chance at getting into. The reason I exclude the ivy and Georgetown is because nobody has a good chance at getting into those schools. Their acceptance rates are so so low and somebody could have the prefect stats and not get in, but someone with lower could. So I will not speculate on those. However, I think your pretty solid for everywhere else on that list.

But still apply to the other two because your stats line up with some of their students who were accepted and attend.

Good luck to you!
