Chance me, please . . .

I know it must be somewhat annoying, but I am curious as to what some of you think my chances are as to being admitted . . .

I sent in a music tape of mine on the piano (a somewhat difficult Mozart Sonata in A Minor)

I do not know what else to mention . . .

No financial aide, Navy brat (parents are commanders), good recs, really good essay (I want to be a writer and I worked very hard on my essay and supplemental poems - its about a scrapbook I made for my Grandmother for her 85th birthday...)

Schools that I would like to be "chanced" for: William and Mary (my favorite!- but I applied Regular Decision), Bowdoin, Bucknell (where my sister is going now), Smith, and Middlebury

Okay, thanks! (oh, and I'm female and white- if that helps...)

very good chances with your ECs

W&M is your toughest application and I think you're a clear admit there! :) You shouldn't have a problem w/ the rest.

You should be admitted to Bucknell & Smith. The College of William & Mary is much less certain as you are an out-of-state female. You are a strong candidate for Bowdoin, but it would be better if Bowdoin knew that it was clearly your first choice. Middlebury College could go either way even though you are well qualified. Because you will not be seeking financial aid and you are very well qualified, I think that you will probably be admitted to Bowdoin and Middlebury.

Thank you, I suppose I am getting somewhat nervous now that my part in the application game is finished. I actually applied ED 2 to Middlebury (which, I admit, I regretted soon after- because I realized W&M was my top choice) and got rejected (not even wait listed...). So, I guess I will just have to wait and see what happens. And I really did love Middlebury's student union center...
