<p>This is exactly the reason for standardized tests like the SATs. Each school is different. Teachers grade differently too. Since your SATs are so strong, you shouldn’t have any problem getting in.</p>
<p>As others said, it depends on your school. I went to a really small school myself (~same number of students), but a 3.23 wouldn’t have a chance at getting in to a top school.</p>
<p>Here’s the key: if in the past, students with your gpa get into top schools, it shouldn’t be a problem.</p>
<p>Your guidance counselor should know the track record of college placement out of your school far better than we will.</p>
