Potential Colleges/Universities
-Wake Forest University (ED)
-University of Michigan
-Penn State University Park
-Boston College
-University of Maryland College Park
-College of the Holy Cross
-University of Pittsburgh
-Bucknell University
-Fairfield University
-Northeastern University
-Tulane University
-University of Miami
-University of Richmond
-Lehigh University

You don't have to chance me for all of them, but any input would be appreciated; I am really kind of nervous and am not sure I am going to get in anywhere I want to go.

Thanks

anyone? please…

Which school LaSalle or Hendricken?

-Wake Forest University (ED) - deferred Wake Forest really focuses on GPA and I don’t know if a 3.5 W will cut it.
-University of Michigan - Reach your OoS so it will be hard to get in
-Penn State University Park - Reach Same as Michigan
-Boston College - Reach SAT scores are low and same with GPA for the school
-University of Maryland College Park - High Match easier than Michigan and Penn State
-College of the Holy Cross - High Match/Low Reach
-University of Pittsburgh - Don’t know enough about OoS applications
-Bucknell University - High Match/Low Reach
-Fairfield University - Don’t know enough
-Northeastern University - Match/High Match
-Tulane University - Low Reach
-University of Miami - High Match
-University of Richmond - Don’t know
-Lehigh University - Reach Focuses on Math and Critical Reading scores both of which are low for the school. Doesn’t even look at Writing Score.

The state schools will be hard to get into and I think that Lehigh, BC, and Tulane will be tough to get into, but you have a better chance at all the other schools.

I am assuming that URI is your safety? Easy to get into if you’re in state

What is your unweighted GPA?

What do you want to study?

Other schools you might want to consider PC, UConn, UMass Amherst.

If you can try to retake your SATs or take some other SAT IIs. Those and your essays are really the only things you can improve on now.

3.5 weighted won’t come close to Wake - Sorry

Others can help you better with the other schools.

precise, I’m not applying to URI- I really don’t want to stay in state and everybody in Rhode Island goes there, I’d rather go farther away. My unweighted GPA is about an 86 or so…I’m not sure what that translates to on a 4 point scale.

I want to study Finance, Economics, or Business Administration depending on what school I go to.

Thanks for the help

what about Syracuse? Villanova? Clemson?

86 looks like a 3.1 on this scale

thanks a lot

Penn State would be a reach but It’s deff possible :)

chance back?

U of M Ann Arbor is a big reach, given your low GPA. Only 4% of students there are below a 3.3 UNweighted. Unless you’re black, then you’ve got a shot.

unfortunately, I am not black
