Alright so I'm a junior in high school. My grades aren't so great, but I have a lot of other stuff going for me:

GPA weighted: 3.6
SAT: 2200
Extra curricular:
editor-in-chief of high school newspaper
president of soroptimist international club
been on the city of parks and rec teen council (and chairperson) for 7 years
ice skating for 7 years noncompetitive
received gold award for girl scouts (8 years)

took 4 classes at community college during high school with a GPA of 4.0
AP testing grades:
AP euro: 4
AP bio 4

With your extra curricular activities and your high SAT score, you should be able to make up for your low weighted GPA.

I’d encourage you to write strong personal statements when you’re applying next November and try to take more AP classes this semester, as more AP classes will boost your GPA and show the colleges you’re applying to that you’re college material.
