GPA: 3.27(unweighted)
Including senior year: 6 AP classes, 4 Honors classes, and 4 years of Foreign Language</p>

<p>Community Service: Aprox. 170+ hours</p>

<p>Clubs: French Club (2 years- will be Vice P next year), Committee (4 years- outside of school, was elected leader this past year, and will be again next year)</p>

<p>Sports: Bball in 9th, probably wont even include it in the APP</p>

<p>SAT: 1720 (I was feeling pretty bad that day, expecting 1950+ in Fall)</p>

<p>Your unweighted GPA is kind of low, but at least you have AP/Honors classes. They’ll note the types of classes you take and how rigorous they are. (ie. AP Psych > Pottery)</p>

<p>I think you have good ECs, but where did you volunteer at? Was it at one place or did you do volunteer-hopping and get a few hours here and there?</p>

<p>What is committee? Regardless, you have good leadership in your clubs, which is always a positive thing :)</p>

<p>Good luck on your SAT! If you can get the 1950+, I’d say you’ve got a good chance. You’re not an automatic shoe-in (especially with the GPA), but be sure to write good essays and portray yourself as someone who does more than just study and goes out and takes leadership roles and helps out in your community.</p>

<p>Are you applying Early Action? I suggest to take advantage of that, because then you’ll find out about SU by Christmas.</p>
