<p>I took like every high level math and science class...I have a VERY POWERFUL and DEMANDING curriculum....</p>

<p>Lived in INDIA for 11 years.....heritage Indian.....</p>

<p>clubs: 1st degree black belt in karate, volunteer at library, math club (president), Its Academic (President/Captain), Math, Engineering, Science, Association-project lead (MESA), National Honor Society, volunteering and community service through NHS, Mock Trial...</p>

<p>Principals honor roll, AP scholar with honor, honorary teacher award, Maryland distinguished scholars, honorable mention, placed in math competitions, its academic regionals first place, etc.</p>

<p>Did and Internship (Autonomous Vehicles and Robotics) at US naval Academy during the summer...wrote an optional essay on this, and got letter of rec. from mentor (he has phd in mechanical engineering, from U Penn, and I'm applying also to Mech E)</p>

<p>did u take the toefl?</p>

<p>^yea... if you took the toefl and did well enough on it it would allow them to look over your critical reading score. it would of helped to also get your math score a bit over 700, but other than that you have a good shot.</p>

<p>didn't take teofl :(, as for the 700, I was hoping the 34 on ACT would maybe take the place for the 700, I looked on the collegeboard site, and it had a chart where it said 34 was ~760 SAT math wise...</p>
