I'm an 8th grade girl at a public school and I'm applying to private high school this fall. Just wanted to see what other people thought my chances would be to be accepted. Yeah so this is my info:

SSAT Scores:
Verbal: 75% (would that hurt my chance a lot?)
Critical Reading: 83% (would THIS hurt?)
Math: 99%
Total: 92% (math score pulled my total up lots)

Grades @ school:
two A-'s
two A's
one A+

My reccomendations should be pretty good, especially in math I would think so.

My interviews were average to wicked good.

Extracurriculars:

Dance- been dancing ballet + chinese dance since I was like 6
Ballet: 3 classes per week, totaling 4.5 hrs a week
Chinese dance: part of audition-only Angel Dance Troupe which is super good. I'm the youngest member of the highest level, since everyone else is already in high school. we got invited to perform at a Pre-Proffesional Gala

Oboe: started in 5th grade, took private lessons in 6th. i think it would look good on my profile, because oboe is unique.

School Activities:
School Band: all 3 years playing oboe... one of three oboe players in my grade, but the other 2 don't take private lessons so I guess you could say I'm more advanced.

Student Council: yeah.. community service stuff. self-explanatory

Math Team: Math Team is a club that competes against other schools math teams in math meets. Each month everyone takes an admission test, and those who scored highest are invited to participate in the math meets to represent their team. I am one of the more valuable members, because I am always the only eighth grader from my school to compete in the monthly meets.

Sports: (besides dance)

I do spring track each year. 100m sprinter, a little bit of high jump, and planning to do long distances since I improved a lot on that. I could keep up with the pretty good cross country runners. plus this spring I'm eligible for team captain.

YUP thats bout it. umm oh yeah I'm applying to BB&N, Phillips Andover, Groton School, and Middlesex School.

Any comments will help a lot!! Be honest

Thanks x100 :]
