Chance me RD please

I am an international student from one of the top intl schools in the world (ranked #4) and I really really want to attend Washu. Please be honest, thanks! :)

In addition, I represented our school at the annual Global Issues Network in Jakarta (International Event). I have also been published in the school literary magazine.

Recs should be decent (I hope) but I can't be positive.
Essay should be decent, edited by uChicago graduate.

In addition, does any know if I still have the opportunity to schedule an interview without visiting campus? I don't live in the US so I dont have the opportunity to visit the campus/interview.

9 other people are applying from my school (last year, 5/10 accepted)
I ED but was deferred...so I was just wondering what my chances are.

Thanks again!

You SAT scores seem alright but your GPA is kind of low as you mentioned. However, WashU seems to love your school and you can expect 4-5 students to be accepted this year as well. Do you know what your IB predicted grades are? What are the stats of the other students applying to WashU from your school?

Thanks so much!
My predicted is 37 but that score isn’t being sent to Washu (my counselor said it wasn’t necessary and that GPA is enough). Not quite sure about other people’s stats though.

Oh okay. My school didn’t really calculate a GPA. They just had my transcripts and predicted grades sent in.

bumppp…

I am not sure about International students. Your GPA is low if you were a U.S. applicant. It also hurts that you are Asian - most competitive applicant group.

thanks! anyone else?
