What are my chances?

ACT: 35
SAT II: physics (770), math ii (800)

GPA: 3.85/4
APs: APUSH (5), psych (5), physics B (4)

ECs: softball captain (varsity), amnesty club head, debate member, student body secretary, founder of Girls in STEM club

Essays: 8/10, my english teacher read them and thought they were pretty good

I would normally say a female applicant in STEM area with your stats has a decent chance but after seeing a female applicant with even better stats (to my eyes – I could be wrong) not even get deferred but receive an outright rejection, I am no longer sure what Stanford is looking for. I am now beginning to feel that the luck plays the biggest factor. Take a look at the stats of memelord poster in REA thread.

My kid ran cross country for one semester and he was too tired to do other activities, so I give anyone who competes in athletics and yet has good ECs in non-athletic areas a lot of credit.
