I have a 3.006 unweighted and a 3.241 weighted GPA. I got a 1010 on the SAT and a 20 on the ACT, I know that it isn’t good but I have been studying and working to take them both again one next month and the other in June. I love Chapel Hill and I would love to go there but my chances aren’t great. I started my own club this year and I am involved with other clubs also. What are more things that I can do to make me look better rounded for colleges. The bad thing is that I am very stuck on Carolina and I know my chances aren’t great. I have gotten mostly A’s and B’s but my school is a boarding school and it has been pretty tough compared to the school I previously went to. What else can I do to help me?

in state for both unc and uncw and out of state for usc
Are you considering UNC-W, UNCC, ECU, NC State and App state as well? I would say the best thing for you is to try to get your ACT score up to 29+ for your best chances an UNC-CH. Are you an URM? Without a “hook” Chapel Hill is tough. Best of luck to you with your upcoming ACT tests.
