Chance me UPenn

Hey, I am very stressed about decisions coming out and wanted to ask if there was any chance I could get into UPenn, which is my dream school. Here are my stats ( I am applying for mechanical engineering for anyone wondering).

I am half Lebanese and half Dutch. I attend a private Jesuit Catholic school in Lebanon. I also speak French, English, Arabic, Spanish and am fluent in Dutch (which my interviewer said is a plus)

Grades:
4.0 GPA ( I am a French baccalaureate student but have gotten straight As throughout my 4 years of High School)
SAT: 1470 ( I didn’t get to take it again due to test center closings which I think will disadvantage me unfortunately)

As a French Baccalaureate student, we don’t take APs, but I have concentrations in Physics, Chemistry and Math and take Math Expert courses at school and am a member of the Math Olympiads team.
TOEFL: 107

ECs:

  • Competitive horseback riding: I have ranked in the top 3 for all ages in national rankings.
  • Launched a non-governmental organization that aims to tutor kids from a poverty-stricken area in Lebanon and distribute food boxes to their families.
  • Won the Best Delegate award at Harvard Model Congress during my junior year.
  • Launched my school’s astrophysics club where I gave accredited courses to my peers.
  • Created, with the help of my peers from the astrophysics club, the mobile application “Spac-ed” which enables users to take astrophysics courses.
  • I am the director of my school’s MUN team and am as well a trainer.
  • President of my school’s robotics club
  • Conducted research with a graduate student from Stony Brooke.
  • Editor of my school’s official magazine

I also did my alumni interview which went extremely well and we chatted for about an hour an a half.

Your profile is unique and outstanding, and therefore I think you have a chance. However we have to remember that it is Ivy League and nothing can be 100% predicted. Have you all applied to other Ivies?
