Chance me - Vassar ED

International Student from Greece, intrested in studying Cognitive Science or Psychology
No need for financial aid, able to pay full freight

Race: White

Gender:Male

GPA:
9th grade--> 3.7 (this is the last year of my junior highschool. Our educational system is much different. We have 6 years elementary, 3 years junior high, and 3 years highschool)
10th grade-->3.0
11th grade--> 3.3
12th grade--> 3.8-4.0

SAT: 1900-2100 (CR around 580-630, Writing around 650 and Math around 770-800)
I'm not a native english speaker and that may explain my low CR score.
My TOEFL (i ll take it in a month) will make up for my CR and WR and I think I won't have any problems regarding Testing.

EC's : 1)Electric Guitar playing - 4 years, fast progression as a guitarist, playing with 3 bands in local live events
2) Basketball - 4 years
3)Class President

Our high school curriculum won't leave us enough spare time for more EC's. Students come from school , eat , study, go to tuttoring lessons, study and sleep. We can't rely on school to learn (really bad educational system) and our weeks are too busy.

Glowing rec's
Good Essays

In my personal statement I'll be explaining my marks for 10th and 11th grade and I will also write about my big interest in the brain and human behavior and how I used to contemplate making up my own theories about human behavior.

I think you have a pretty good chance because you are an international student whose stats are alright (they need diversity) and applying ED gives you a bump in the admissions rate.

Vassar LOVES diversity! You should be just fine! Good luck! :)

yes you have great chances class pres looks amazing. But I could have chanced you more accurately if I had conclusive SAT scores. You never know what will happen, I learned English when I was 9 and I got a 700 in CR ^^.

Hump de Bump ! bump bump bump

I think you have a pretty good chance! It would be easier to chance you though if you had actual scores

am i considered a unrepresented geographical minority?

Both your GPA/scores look pretty bad; I wouldn’t count on getting in if I were you.

You’re an underrepresented gender group.
