<p>Junior in HS, planning to do Army ROTC. What are my chances at these schools?</p>

<p>West Chester University (PA)

Syracuse
Alabama
LSU
U. of Houston</p>

<p>GPA: 2.68 (planning to get above 3.0, my first quarter GPA for junior year was 3.67) </p>

<p>SAT: 1650
ACT: 24</p>

<p>Extras:</p>

<p>-Lived in China for three years, spoke Mandarin almost fluently, now forgot
-Played on school soccer team for one season
-Martial arts (Gung-Fu) for three years and counting
-10+ hours of community service and counting
-Job at restaurant for 1.5 years and counting
-Own a snow shoveling/lawn care business w/one employee
-Avid political junkie, active on forums
-Planning on a club when I can drive</p>

<p>Planning on more community service, as well as outside of school activities/courses.</p>

<p>Your GPA is kinda low get it to a 3.2 and you should be good. And get some better ECs, try to stand out. </p>

<p>I think that most of your school choices are matches for you. The ROTC angle may set you apart from the pack a bit as well. Just write some good essays and I think you’ll be very happy with your acceptances! I see no reason why you don’t have a great chance to get into any of those schools.</p>
