Chance Me for MIT, NYU, UChicago, and UPenn

You are in NYU and have an excellent shot at the other schools! Your ecs are slightly cookie cutter, but they demonstrate involvement. I don’t see anything wrong with your application, however people with stellar apps like yours have been known to get rejected. I would say pick your favorite school and apply early descion there. Really concentrate on your essay and make sure you stand out. You’ll definitely get into a great school. Good luck!

Perfect ACT and GPA alone should get you into everywhere; but make sure you write great essays! To be honest, you’ll probably get into all of those schools.

For UChicago you need an amazing essay (make sure you do, your numbers will only go so far there), that being said you have a good chance of getting into one if not several schools on your list. Only thing that might hurt you is the average ECs (but really your numbers are AMAZING)…

Great numbers, as all have said. Glad to see another swimmer on this forum.

NYU - Definitely in, I would say
MIT - In number wise. They are super competitive and generally look more at your cumulative stats anyway, but I think you honestly have a legit shot.
UPENN - Definitely a shot, though the Ivies are a bit of a crapshoot.
UChicago - Just make your essays great and you’ve got a terrific shot.

Your dreams are most likely going to come true and you should be very proud of yourself. You are a junior. Do something in your senior year, in terms of extra-curriculars that makes you jump off of the page. Pursue your passion, even if is something as lame as knitting. Knit blankets and send them to people in need who are close to your heart. Colleges need to see that you aren’t merely a robot but that you care about what is happening in the world around you.

You’re a shoot in for NYU, and a top candidate for MIT, with many options available due to your impressive scores and accomplishments. I wish you the best of luck and hope your academic dreams come true!
