GPA- 3.1 as of right now, will be higher before I graduate
SAT- 1340, will be taking the SAT one more time in December
ACT- will be taking the ACT for the first time in December
I am applying regular decision for fall 2016, I’m aware that not applying for early action drops my chances by a lot. I will be graduating with 37 college credits through the dual enrollment program, so my course load has been pretty rigorous. If I don’t get accepted for the fall 2016, what are my chances of being audited to spring 2016 so that I can participate in the freshman connection program?
Your GPA is lowering your chances. Your SAT is good. Do you have challenging coursework and upward trend?
@MDdad2012 College classes are challenging course and yes, my GPA will be a 3.3 by the regular decision deadline.
Maryland uses 26 factors for admission, but GPA is probably one of the most important. 3.3 should give you a better chance.
