The University of Maryland - College Park’s SAT average is 1260-1420. Well I thought for sure I would be able to make the average, easily. In every practice test I took (there were a ton) I got around a 1290-1330. Well, I blew it. I only have a 1230. Now I do have a 3.92 unweighted GPA and a ton of extracurriculars. But, I do have one last problem. I’m home schooled.
It says on the website they weigh standardized tests extremely highly for home schoolers. I understand the reasoning because some home schoolers change their GPAs but I worked so hard for that GPA (only got one B in Advanced Economics at the tutorial I went to throughout high school). I feel like I am going to be screwed over because I blew this test. Is there still a good chance?
