Placed first in a writing contest hosted by our local Freemason Lodge in 9th grade
Vice President of the Republican Club (with connections to the local Republican Charter)
Academic Decathlon - 1 year (9th, quit because of personal issues with the coach)
*JV team, we placed in County, I placed in Art

Notes:
-I did decently during my Sophomore year (2 Bs, 1 C in an Honors class, the rest As), but I received all Bs in the 1st semester of my Junior year (3 APs, 1 honors, 1 regular) and I’m hoping to improve in the 2nd semester
-I want to apply to the College of Letters and Sciences
-Any tips if my application thus far isn’t up to par?

You are within range with your UC GPA and test scores. I would aim for at least a 4.0+ UC GPA for the best chances and keep up the good work and look for some leadership positions.
