<p>My son is a freshman at UA. He had a 89 average in HS and a 1250 on his SAT. I think with your stat's you should make it in. If you are seriously thinking of Albany, make sure you go to an open house and talk with an advisor one on one.</p>

<p>My son really likes it there and did relatively well his 1st semester and got a 3.31..enough to make dean's list. After the 1st semester the minimum criteria to make dean's list goes from 3.25 up to 3.5. They give 1st semester students a bit of a break.</p>
