As a bonus, I lived in Argentina for four years and Beijing, China for five years. In China, I attended one of the best international schools worldwide and maintained a 3.5 GPA there unweighted my freshman year. Some of my experiences overseas include witnessing the aftermath of the tsunami, actually witnessing the bombings in Bali, and making friends with the poor Chinese students at a remote school near Mongolia (These are my biggest topics to write about for my essays).
I will be applying to college as unranked because I switched schools through high school. My first school was much more difficult than the second, giving me a much lower average gpa than I would have at only my current school. With only my grades at my current school, I am in the top 5 or so of 300.

Wow, I keep noticing people with Chance Me forums on MIT and Chicago. Those are my two main choices for college. I'm a senior this year, so I'm new to the college application and forums, but it looks like you have plenty of great things for MIT to look at.

And another wow. Wrong college. Let me rephrase that. It looks like you have plenty of great things for MIT AND University of Chicago to look at.

Your numbers are great, but you haven't shown why these colleges are a good fit for you.

Numbers wise you are set and won't be held back by anything in the admissions process. However, it's gonna come down to your essays and how you show your personality/fit for the school. Also a little luck because it gets harder to get in every year.
