well.i'm an international student.my primary language is not english and the education system in country is a whole lot different from the state.no such thing as AP, IB, etc. offered in my school..just a national standard of curriculum..

haven't take SAT I, II, n TOEFL..but then have taken practice tests.my toefl score hovers around 600+.SAT I around 2000+ but it's only practice test..no one knows what will happen in the real test :(

Honors : what are these?!?

Recs : terrific..
Essay : i'm not really sure..but it's the best one that i've ever written in my whole life(really!)

i know that i shouldnt expect much..but do i stand a chance?perhaps only a slight chance?
just need a confirmation that what i'm doing now is not a complete waste of time...

There are thousands and thousands of motivated applicants like you.

But it's not a waste of time.

Until you actually have SAT I and three SAT II scores, there is no basis to guess your admissions decision. Focus on those hurdles for now, and remember the international pool of candidates is extremely well qualified, with great scores. (Search the list of accepted students to gage the competition.)

where can i find that list of accepted students?

On the Left of the Website, there's a link that says "New: College Stats" Click it and search People who have applied to Harvard 2012. There will be a list of people either accepted or rejected, and you can click on the username to see any additional information about ec's etc...

Also, look at the first site thread: "Official Harvard 2012 Decisions thread" to see the stats and profiles of those accepted or rejected.

fiuuhh...thanx a lot...=)
