<p>Your GPA is on the weak side as are your leadership positions so it's a definite reach, but I would give it a shot. Washington has a lot of qualified applicants and a fair amount of students from Washington go to CMC</p>
<p>I disagree; I think you have a good chance. If your school doesn't weight and your class schedule is very rigourous, a little lower gpa is OK. Focus your ECs so it doesn't just look like a laundry list but pick a couple you really excel at (like cheer) to highlight; and write killer essays; they do count.

<p>If you school is really a rigorous or well known school, your GPA will be much more respected. They do look at where your transcript is coming from as well as what it says. Also, essays/teacher recs/interviews are really respected at CMC, they want to know that you're a good fit.</p>
