What are my chances at University of Florida, Florida State University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Georgia Tech (mom attended) , Duke, University of Miami, University of Central Florida, and Washington University in St. Louis?

bump

mainly just curious about duke and washington u in st. louis

bump (10 char)

You’re obviously “in” the in-state schools (Florida, Florida State, Central Florida).

Your ACT score is above the 75th percentile at Miami, and your GPA is well over the average, so you’re “in” there.

Your freshman index for Georgia colleges is a 3504, so you should be “in” at Georgia Tech.

At Duke and WUSTL you’re in the same situation - ACT score in the 75th percentile, and your GPA is above those students on college data that were accepted this year. Add in challenging classes, and you’re in good shape for both of those schools.

I’m not great with the UNC - the stats are misleading because of the vastly different qualifications for in-state and out-of-state students, and I don’t keep up with that school enough to make an informed decision.

A Florida IBer in the ska scene? I’m wondering where you go to school.

By the way, we can safely guarantee that you’re in at all of the Florida schools. I don’t know much about WashU. As for Duke, and UNC, I feel that you are qualified, but thousands of qualified applicants are turned down from schools like those. Best of luck!

thanks for the help
