<p>My language selected was French and I've taken 5 years of it, but my new school didn't offer AP. I explained this and am intending on self-studying for AP french exam this year.</p>

<p>Both of you are as qualified as one can get. You fit the statistics, and have good, relatively focused, ECs with a good amount of depth and breadth. Write strong essays, consider applying ED (if you haven’t decided to yet), and then it will all come down to luck of the draw. If you are rejected, it won’t be because of some major shortcoming in your stats/ECs. </p>
